Medical records are a crucial component in effective health care. There is an understanding among healthcare professionals that proper medical records are an important and necessary adjunct to medical care. Mostly the patient data are stored and managed in EHRs giving less authority and flexibility to the patients. A Blockchain based patient data management network is suggested to provide a flexibility and more authority to the patients and overcome issues associated with traditional Electronic Health Records systems.
