If you’re looking to study in Sri Lanka on a student visa, there are a few things you need to know. First, you’ll need to obtain a student visa from the Sri Lankan embassy or consulate in your home country. Once you have your visa, you’ll need to register with the Sri Lankan Department of Immigration and Emigration within 30 days of arrival in the country. To do this, you’ll need to submit a completed application form, your passport, two recent passport-sized photographs, and a copy of your university admission letter.
After you’ve registered with the Department of Immigration and Emigration, you’ll need to apply for a student residence permit. This permit will allow you to stay in Sri Lanka for the duration of your studies. To apply, you’ll need to submit a completed application form, your passport, two recent passport-sized photographs, and a copy of your IIT admission letter.
