IIT’s Digital and Distance Learning Department Hosts IoT Seminar in Kurunegala

The Digital and Distance Learning Department at the Informatics Institute of Technology (IIT) recently conducted an insightful IoT seminar for the ICT A/L students of Kurunegala Education Zone at Maliyadeva Balika Vidyalaya in Kurunegala, attracting over 300 A/L students. The two-day event focused on the particulars and real-world applications of the Internet of Things (IoT), providing students with a valuable opportunity to engage with advanced technological concepts. Through comprehensive presentations, engaging discussions, and hands-on demonstrations, students learned how IoT is transforming industries and daily life, boosting their exam preparation and sparking enthusiasm for future technological pursuits. Feedback was overwhelmingly positive, highlighting IIT’s commitment to promoting technological literacy and innovation among young learners.
