In a dazzling showcase of innovation, students from the Informatics Institute of Technology (IIT) left an indelible mark at the prestigious TravelTech Hackathon hosted by Acorn Ventures. The event provided a platform for budding tech enthusiasts to exhibit their skills in crafting solutions for the travel industry. IIT emerged as a powerhouse, with Team AeroGen securing the coveted first place and Team ServerMonks clinching the second runner-up position.
Team AeroGen, comprised of Minuri Rajapakse, Shamal Rathnayaka, Rumeth Sandinu, Naveen Savinda, and Thenumi Sedara, showcased their mettle by crafting a groundbreaking solution that earned them the top spot at the TravelTech Hackathon. Their innovative approach and collaborative efforts stood out, demonstrating the depth of talent and dedication within the IIT community.
Following closely behind, Team ServerMonks, led by S. Srisarangan, T. Vishnujan, S. Savinash, K. Suwathi Sawmiya, and K. Samahithan, demonstrated exceptional talent by securing the second runner-up position. Their solution not only reflected technical brilliance but also underscored the ability of IIT students to tackle real-world challenges in the travel technology domain.
